Neeraj and Shailaja’s wedding was a happy and joyous occassion filled with love and laughter. significant components of a traditional North Indian wedding, each carrying its own special meaning and customs.

Baraat: The "baraat" is the groom's wedding procession, where he, accompanied by his family and friends, makes his grand entrance to the wedding venue. It's a lively and joyous affair, with music, dancing, and sometimes even horse or elephant rides for the groom. The "baraat" is a symbol of celebration and marks the groom's journey to the wedding ceremony.

Varmala: The "varmala" is the exchange of garlands between the bride and groom, symbolizing their acceptance of each other as partners in marriage. In this ritual, the bride and groom stand face to face as they exchange beautifully decorated garlands, often made of flowers. It signifies their mutual consent and commitment to each other, as well as their willingness to embark on this journey of marriage together.

Shaadi: The "shaadi" is the wedding ceremony itself, where the bride and groom officially tie the knot and become husband and wife. It involves a series of rituals and traditions, including the exchange of vows, the blessing of the couple by elders, and the circumambulation of the sacred fire (pheras). The "shaadi" is the culmination of all the preceding rituals and marks the beginning of the couple's married life together.

The ceremony took place at MRC Center which served as the perfect backdrop for this memorable love story.
